How we work

You book direct with the owner
We make the introduction and step out of it. The money goes to the family who own the cottage rather than through a platform, which is why we are not the cheapest agency to run.
We write down the drawbacks
Road noise at Marsh End on a summer Saturday. A quarter mile of rough track to Gillbeck. It loses us bookings every year and saves everyone a ruined week.
The price does not move
No surge pricing when the school holidays land, no cleaning charge added at checkout. We could make more in August. We have decided not to.
